SCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

 

Any SCA member in good standing with the organization is eligible to serve on the Board. You may nominate a colleague who you believe is a strong candidate for the Board, or you may nominate yourself. If elected, nominees would serve a two-year term on the Board, beginning immediately following the ISA Annual Conference in August.

 

Nominations should include a short paragraph outlining why you (or your colleague) would make a good candidate for the SCA Board.

 

SCA Board Member Position Description

• Two-year term

• Participate in bi-monthly Board teleconference

• Participate in one in-person meeting annually (at the ISA Annual Conference)

• Assist in SCA activities at ISA Annual Conference

• Help guide the association’s strategic direction and represent the needs of membership in planning events, SCA Today magazine, email communications, general member benefits and other functions
